I’m an independent Occupational Therapist, based in Cardiff, UK

Dora Weston

“My goal is simple: to improve people’s lives through occupational therapy.”

About

Occupational therapy helps people engage in everyday activities as independently as possible, with an aim to reduce the impact of disability.

With more than 20 years experience, I am a qualified occupational therapist and my practice is broad yet specialised. I organise intervention for clients of all ages, abilities, and needs — with a particular focus on the assessment/treatment of children and autism spectrum conditions. I work inclusively and reflectively; family members are invited to participate throughout the process and I collaborate with third parties when appropriate. Through feedback and ongoing training, I ensure my own professional development and the meeting of client needs.

Assessment

Once our plan and therapeutic approach is agreed, treatment begins.

Plan

We get to know each other and I am able to assess your strengths, interests, and needs.

Intervention

Based on the assessment, I will create an intervention plan that is tailored to you.
